Oil painting is the process of painting with pigments that are bound with a medium of drying oil — especially in early modern Europe, linseed oil. Often an oil such as linseed was boiled with a resin such as pine resin or even frankincense; these were called 'varnishes' and were prized for their body and gloss. Bring that added luxury of an oil painting into your home.
Japanese / Chinese painting is one of the oldest and most highly refined of the Oriental arts, encompassing a wide variety of genre and styles. Traditional techniques include; mud painting on Japanese paper, natural pigment painting also on Japanese paper. Recently new modern technics have taken hold and enhanced the more traditional style. The combination of the old and new styles fast becoming popular. Such as adding a scroll painting (Kakejiku) and /or Fusuma painting to a modern design.
Acrylic paint is fast-drying paint containing pigment suspended in an acrylic polymer emulsion. It becomes water-resistant when dry. Painted on canvas, it can resemble an oil painting, on paper, it can resemble a watercolor. It's easy to use and has various characteristic. One of the merits is a more reasonable price than a oil painting. Acrylic paint is used for masterpieces such as Bali classical painting and representative painting by Australian Aborigine.
Watercolor painting is the medium or the resulting artwork, in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water soluble vehicle. As you may know, young and old enjoy it. Watercolor paintings show high clarity. A glaze is also one of the characteristics. It will depend on the amount of water added, from a light color, once applied it has many variations.

Classical technique using pigment added egg yolk with vinegar. Bright coloration is one of the characteristics.

An airbrush works by passing a stream of fast moving air through a venturi, which creates a local reduction in air pressure that allows paint to be pulled up from an interconnected reservoir at normal atmospheric pressure. It can create fine line drawing and gradation, which is difficult for brush.
Marker pens include both oil-based (thinner or alcohol) and water-based (dye or pigment) have a variety of colors and tip-styles.

A canvas that has been stretched and / or attached usually to 2x2’s or similar sized of pieces wood to form a inside frame. This is the most popular framing technique for a variety of reasons such as; it shows the colour well and keeps the quality of the workmanship. People enjoy this type of framing as it is very easy to hang and if they desire they can simply attach an outside or normal type of frame.
